Happy New Year!!! Let's make 2022 a good year for the bees, how can we help them?

Almost 90% of plant species rely on pollinators to reproduce. Pollinators help plants survive by transporting pollen from one flower to another. By doing this they also provide habitats and food for animals - without them, the production of food crops will decrease. Bees are one of the most important pollinators as they are responsible for pollinating almost 85%(!!!) of all food crops for humans.

Bee populations are in decline because of the use of pesticides, climate change and loss of habitat. Here are some things you can do to help the bees:

Grow a bee friendly garden
- Give the bees shelter by letting your grass grow
and leaving your garden a bit messy
- Look up which bee-friendly plants to plant during which season.
(And if you love growing your own fruit and veg, the bees will pollinate them)
- Don't use any pesticides

Buy local, sustainable honey

Leave out water for the bees

Create a bee hotel - you can either buy one or make one yourself

We are very passionate about our mission to help the bee population whilst enabling farmers in developing countries to gain crop yields and financial stability.
Be a part of our "Bee a Keeper" campaign by purchasing our honey-based skincare products (sustainably sourced) and planting the seeds that are included with every purchase. It's time to give back to our fuzzy little friends.
