HONEY CORN X British American Business

“BritishAmerican Business is the leading transatlantic trade association incorporating the British-American Chamber of Commerce in the US and the American Chamber of Commerce in the UK. “

As a small business owner with global ambitions for my gender-neutral skincare brand Honey Corn. I am thrilled to be represented in British American Business significant policy paper titled ‘A Small Business Work Plan - Recommendations for a Transatlantic US-UK SME Agenda’ (published - 21/09/2022)

I am extremely proud for the opportunity to fly the UK flag and to illustrate the huge opportunity that exists for UK sme’s to export to the USA.

British American Business recent policy paper highlights the extremely important role small business play. “SMEs represent 99% of all British companies, employ 60% of all staff, and account for 50% of turnover in the private sector.” Proof that SME’s maybe exigious but can be bountiful and contribute greatly to the UK economy.

Thank you British American Business for including me and my business!

Authors and contributors of ‘A Small Business Work Plan - Recommendations for a Transatlantic US-UK SME Agenda’ include Emanuel Adam, Chief Trade and Policy Officer, BritishAmerican Business Dagny Ahrend, Policy Associate, BritishAmerican Business Duncan Edwards, CEO, BritishAmerican Business and contributors.

In April 2022 I had the pleasure to meet and speak with US Trade Ambassador Katherine Tai United States Trade Representative, Jayme White Deputy Trade Ambassador and their delegation and we spoke about future trade opportunities with a UK business like mine. We discussed the booming skincare industry and “The Lipstick Effect”.
